The Resourceful Education Foundation (REF), was awarded for Education and Learning at the World CSR Day Congress and Awards ceremony held at Taj Lands End, Bandra, Mumbai on 18th Feb. 2020.

The World CSR Day Congress and Awards were presented by ET NOW at a glittering ceremony held with top speakers from all around the globe. 

The REF was in the nomination category for the Organizational Awards and emerged the winner for Education and Learning. The Resourceful Education Foundation gained recognition based on the outreach and achievements of the NGO within a short period.

The Resourceful Education Foundation (REF), an NGO founded by Mr Amarpal Singh, Alumni of IIM, Bangalore has made landmark contributions to society within two years.

The Resourceful Education Foundation, NGO, was incorporated on April 23, 2018, based in Wakad, Pune. The NGO has rapidly picked up pace since then and helped underprivileged deserving students to reach their goal. The REF has tightened the grip on education for all by further supporting governments endeavour by focussing on underprivileged students and CSR funds utilization.

The World CSR Day Congress and Awards is a benchmark to recognize excellence throughout the industry. The Award focuses on the contribution of the respective Individual, Project, Organizations and technologies that have excelled in the use and development and presented to respective companies/Individual that have demonstrated leadership who are an epitome of excellence in their chosen area of interest.

The World CSR Day Congress and Awards got off to a glittering start at Mumbai with global speakers taking centre stage to highlight their point of view on social and global matters. The host ET NOW presented the World CSR Day Congress and Awards in the presence of leading corporates and NGOs from all around the globe.

The packed ballroom provided evidence that the audience was eager to know the outcome of their laboured work.

The founder of the World CSR Day Congress and Awards Dr R L Bhatia welcomed the guests and opened the event showcasing a documentary on being a good human being rather than creating divide using the caste factor.

The ballroom rose as the national anthem was played and what followed thereafter was a series of awards being handed out to deserving individuals, corporates and NGOs.

The REF NGO, was spear-headed by Mr Amarpal Singh, CEO Founder of the NGO along with his son Arindam Singh.

The award was in recognition of the work done by the NGOs and the REF emerged a clear winner.

Mr Amarpal Singh received the trophy, and citation at the hands of Almas Jiwani, President, CEO Emeritus UN Women Canada NC, Almas Jiwani Foundation. Almas is a vocal champion for gender equality.
