When I had joined IIM Bangalore for the MBA program, I was only a graduate of different faculty but education and guidance by IIM Bangalore changed my life completely.
On completion of my MBA program, I secured a branded job with a handsome salary. The company treated the newly hired MBA pass-outs with dignity.
I had a burning zeal and fervour to serve society and make a difference through my education to our country. I joined Dr Kurian's organization called the National Dairy Development Board where Dr Kurian had started working for marginal farmers in Gujarat.
The language barrier did not deter him from his goal and a brand AMUL was born through his vision and perseverance. There were a lot of learning curves during my early stages of life.
What prompted me to kick-start the Resourceful Education Foundation was I realized that most students are unable to pursue further studies due to financial obstacles.
These underprivileged students though having potentials and intellect lacked means for further studies. I can relate to these brilliant underprivileged students because higher education helped me secure my life through better opportunities bestowed upon me because of my education.
I always wanted to give back to society. I am very much satisfied with my life and to date now it’s time to give back. So the first thought that came to my mind was to help the underprivileged intelligent students achieve their dreams.
These students lacked the means to secure their future through further studies and hence I established the Resourceful Education Foundation to bridge the financial gap.
Our NGO can be a resource for all needy students to fulfil their dreams.”
